Most people mispronounce my name so G is what most people know me as. I'm currently attending the University of Guam, where I am studying English and seconadry education. I intend on getting my master's degree and possibly my doctorates. I'm Chamorro Irish and am currently learning how to speak Tagalog. I can understand Chamorro for the most part. I want to travel once I start making enough money to do so. I recently lost 50 plus pounds and I always have to mention this in introduction because it has taken me a long time to finally find the will power to do it. I run two miles everyday and am a vegeterian. I don't eat candy or drink anything besides water.
Hello all and welcome to my blog. I'm thinking this will be a place for others of similar interests to read about my thoughts on English and education and possibly agree or disagree with me. I hope this will go well.
Hey sjheart, thanks for the comment. I have not checked my blog in sometime, so please excuse the delay.
I actually just found out that there are modified vegetarians. I'm the type who eats fish and sometimes chicken, but no other animals. I believe it is called a peseterian. I'm not too sure, but who knew.
At one point in time I was a full on vegan, but that was too difficult and I was often super hungry, considering I've lived most of my life consuming things with animals in them.
despite, my modified vegetarianism, my ultimate goal is to become a REAL one. I just need to become more acquainted with recipes and foods that will work a substitutes. Living on the island of Guam, does not help. Everything we eat is some kind of animal. If you go to a fiesta and try to be a vegetarian, call your gonna get is red rice, kimchee cucumber, and finadenne (a soy sauce, vinegar, onion, and donne or red pepper combo).
well i know this is quite extensive, but I dig conversation, as you may be able to tell.
